De Arne is a family business that was started more than 50 years ago by Leo and Joke van Belzen. In the summer they rented out boats and every winter they made a number of boats. After that brother Kees van Belzen also joined the company and the business continued to expand. Not only with boats, but also with a water sports store, a boat elevator, winter storage and workshop for making and repairing engines and sails and painting yachts.
In the meantime the 3 children and son-in-law of Leo van Belzen work in the family business. After 30 years there was finally permission for the realization of an own marina. And since a few years the company has expanded even further with a wakeboard track, the rental of berths and the organization of group activities.
At Watersports Company De Arne you can rent sailing, cabin and motor yachts for a wonderful day (or longer) on the water. From the water you will experience Middelburg and Arnemuiden from a different perspective. The atmospheric city harbor is located halfway along the Canal through Walcheren that connects the Veerse Meer and the Westerschelde.
On the wakeboard and water-ski track you can have a blast. During wakeboarding, kneeboarding, tuberiding and water skiing an adrenaline kick is guaranteed. For extra challenge, the course is equipped with various obstacles.
