In the national monument Mournouw, which once housed a busy inn, Victor De Coninck wants to recreate an inspiring meeting place with Studio VC. An intimate Studio has been realized in the front house, with three exhibition/work spaces.
Perennial exhibitor is the now well-known Zeeland photographer/filmmaker Frank Peters, who has won a number of prestigious awards for his work. In collaboration with producer/interviewer Victor, Frank continues to work from the studio on a series of film portraits of artists, which of course can be seen in Mournouw.
In addition to the disciplines of photography and film, the studio also offers contemporary artists the opportunity to show their work. Quality always comes first. As a gallery owner in Dordrecht, Victor built up a network of artists in all disciplines for this purpose. He likes to give them a stage in his new residence in Middelburg.
