Prins Hendrik Dock

A dry dock once existed in the middle of the city. This dock dates back to 1875 and was named after King Willem III's younger brother. The dock was created in Middelburg's inner harbor and used to dry dock ships so they could be repaired and maintained. Also known as "cut and shear."
