The small porcelain studio is located in one of the beautiful streets of Middelburg.
Through a back way you come into a 'hidden piece' of Middelburg; a cozy little courtyard where the entrance to the atelier is located.
All works, vase or container forms, are made of porcelain. Mainly they are cast in homemade molds. In contrast, the atmospheric lights and ornaments are made of hand-formed porcelain.
Porcelain is known for its beautiful transparency. That is why most of the works are executed in white porcelain, precisely in order to emphasize that transparency. Simplicity is characteristic for the vase and container forms, just like cut-outs and tiny holes.
At a visit to the studio you can experience the fragility, hardness and beauty of porcelain.
