In the southern part of Middelburg is Het Meiveld, a park with a large playground, a petting zoo, a calisthenics (workout) park and trap fields. Especially families with children will have a lot of fun here. If you want to walk your dog, Het Meiveld is also an excellent place. The large meadow is off-leash and so dogs are allowed to run around freely.
