In the atmospheric 17th -century PAKHUIS 22 on the Oostkerkplein (behind the church), Onno Jongewaard has his sculpture studio and exhibition space.
Onno Jongewaard attended the art academy in Eeklo (B) in the direction of stone carving and later the specialization degree Kunstambacht Steen-beeld. His abstract sculptures are generally minimalist organic in form and are carved from hard stone. In addition, he works with other materials such as wood and plaster.
You can visit the warehouse to work independently or with support with hammer and chisel. Workshops are also possible.
