Museum Arnemuiden

The old town hall of Arnemuiden and the workers' house opposite house the Historical Museum Arnemuiden. The themes of fishing and costume are discussed in detail. Objects from Arnemuiden's heyday, such as tombstones, paintings, a cannon and very special tiles allow visitors to become extensively acquainted with Arnemuiden's rich history.

Historical persons

There is attention paid to historical persons who have a special relationship with Arnemuiden or Kleverskerke, such as Ambassador Maurits van Vollenhoven. You always get a guided tour of the whole museum.

Streekdrachten 
The museum has just opened a new department of regional costumes. Here you will find the most comprehensive exhibition on regional costumes of Zeeland. The exhibition guides you through four scenes that tell the history of Arnemuidse regional costume.

Arworkers' cottage 't Uusje van Eine' 
Who enters 't Uusje van Eine' (Hendrik's cottage), steps into everyday life during the nineteenth century. The interior with authentic utensils gives an impression of the lifestyle of the former inhabitants of Arnemuiden. During the museum's opening hours, it is possible to take a tour of the cottage with a volunteer.
