Bolwerken

The Bolwerken of Middelburg. With a total distance of 4 kilometers one of the longest parks in the Netherlands. The green walking route is adorned by chestnut trees, willows and alders, among others. The bastions are located on the water of the Middelburg vest.

In addition to special trees, such as the trumpet trees at the Koepoort and the moseik on the Noord bolwerk, there are several mills to visit, such as the Seismolen and De Hoop. A walk along the Bolwerken is well worth the effort. Walking in green and yet in the city.
