From 2010 Riet Wullems has had her studio. Here the results of her efforts can be admired every 1st Sunday of the month: sculptures of clay and etchings in color and black and white.
Riet Wullems molds the clay with passion and pleasure to achieve the best possible result. She draws inspiration from the everyday, such as media, (newspapers, magazines) the long walks with her dogs or experiences gained during her travels in Africa. Nature and man are central to her work.
The time-consuming editing of an etching plate requires patience and discipline but is for Riet Wullems a challenge every time again. With patience and dedication she works towards the intended result. Again, nature and ordinary everyday things are her greatest source of inspiration.
