Logement 't Oude Bierhuys is a unique accommodation located at the Vismarkt in Middelburg. Since 2009 Sanne and Geoffrey are the proud owners of this lodge. What began as day cafe Sint John has now grown into an intimate hotel with four stylish double rooms, each with its own character and equipped with modern conveniences.
In day cafe Sint John, which has been a household name in Middelburg for 40 years, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning. Behind Sint John's small door you will find a treasure trove of authenticity, with creaking boards, old beams and a real Mechelen stove. Enjoy a wide selection of teas, different coffee preparations and dishes while overlooking the old fish market.
On Sint John's terrace you can relax in the summer under old lime trees and chestnuts, away from the hustle and bustle of the center. Live music performances and art exhibitions are regularly held here, creating a lively atmosphere.
