On the weekend of April 18 and 19, 2025, four beautiful spring gardens on Walcheren will open their gates to visitors. These gardens, part of the Zeeland Flower Bulb Route, were planted with a variety of bulbs last fall. Together with bulbs planted in previous years, they create a spectacular color palette.
Each garden has a unique design, but what they have in common is a passion for flower bulbs. From vibrant combinations of tulips and daffodils to subtle mixes of bulbs and the fresh foliage of perennials, there is something for everyone. Moreover, flowering spring shrubs enhance the atmosphere while providing an important food source for insects. This early activity of insects contributes to a healthy biological balance in the garden.
