Open house presents Francois Vervaet with solo performance Every brilliant thing. Based on Every brilliant thing written by Duncan Macmillan. Directed by Katinka van den Dool

Francois Vervaet takes up the challenge to be the first to bring this story to Zeeland. The main character recounts his childhood and, as a child of seven, begins to make a list of all the things that make life worth living. As he grows, the list grows with him. When there are a million things on his list, it proves to be a lifeline for the now grown child. Humor, light tone and a hopeful outlook characterize the content of this solo performance. The audience becomes fellow narrator of this heartwarming story.
