This year Santa Clauses are running through Middelburg for the fourth time. Saturday afternoon, December 14, Rotaryclub Middelburg organizes the Santa Run in Middelburg.The participants in this fun run run or walk in Santa suit 3 kilometers through the center with start and finish on the Markt.
On Saturday, December 14, there will be another Santa Run in Middelburg. The Santa Run is a fun run in Santa suit for everyone who wants to participate. Participants can run the Santa Run alone or with their family, family, colleagues, class, team, eleven or group of friends. All participants, from young to old, run or walk the course through downtown in their Santa suit. Start and finish are at the ice rink on the Market.
Christmas DJ on the market On the market we provide a cozy atmosphere before and after. Participating in the Santa Run is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.
Walk for a good cause Participation is not just for yourself. There is running for charity, a beautiful Christmas thought. This year it is to create a Zeeland room in the Ronald McDonals house Sophia Rotterdam. A place where Zeeland parents can be close to their sick child when it is cared for in the Sophia children's hospital.
Participation and registration Everyone, young and old, trained or untrained can participate in the Santa Run. The course is not long and may be run or walked. All participants will start at the same time, in Santa suit, at 4 p.m. on the Markt in Middelburg. The total course runs through the town center and is 3 kilometers long. Registration is via www.middelburg.rotarysantarun.nl. Participation for children is €10 and for adults €15. The tickets include Santa suit.
Pick up Santa suit All participants can pick up their Santa suit from December 1 at Koole Sport (Armeniaans Schuitvlot 20 in Middelburg) or on the day of the Santa Run (Saturday, December 14, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.) at the ice rink. The suits fit everyone and for children there is a special children's Santa suit. Everyone will receive a medal after the Santa Run.
