Nacht van de nacht

The Night of the Night (N8vdN8) is an annual event on the last Saturday of October and is organized by Natuur en Milieufederaties. Activities are organized at hundreds of locations in the Netherlands that emphasize the beauty of true darkness.

The N8vdN8 aims to make people aware of light pollution and the possibilities of reducing it. Traditionally, the N8vdN8 is held on the night when winter time starts.

At least 20 organizations and a multitude of companies open doors, shop windows and gates to experience the Middelburg night at its very best. It is special that all organizations, cultural institutions, residents and companies contribute to this event which can therefore be called the most widely supported event of Middelburg.
