Living Nativity Scene

The Christmas Event 2024 is a joint initiative of three Middelburg center churches: De Gasthuiskerk, de Kruiskerk and de Nieuwe Kerkgemeente.
The purpose of this event is to introduce visitors to the feast of the birth of Jesus. Many facets and stories surrounding the birth of Jesus are depicted and made visible. They organize a living nativity scene, provide atmospheric music, a combo sings songs that seek to encourage and connect around the feast of Jesus birth in Bethlehem.
The place where this can be seen and experienced is in "Hofje onder Den Toren" and beyond.
