Klaas has in recent years mainly been seen on TV, including in Foute Vrienden and CupCakeCup and can be heard on the radio on the morning show of Radio 538. Up every morning at 4:15 a.m. and then happily crawling behind the microphone, Klaas can do it.
Where does this unbridled drive to constantly entertain and make everyone laugh come from? And wasn't this destiny, due to a fatal accident in his family, already fixed from birth? In this theater program Klaas tries to answer this question. One thing is certain: he will always stay afloat.
Klaas van der Eerden is a comedian and presenter for television and radio. In 1999 he won both the jury and audience award at the Amsterdams Kleinkunstfestival, after which he made no less than seven full-length cabaret programs for fifteen years, including Extreem!, Wortels and Breedbeeld. In 2014, he decided to focus on his radio and television career. On television, he gained fame as one of the Foute Vrienden and as host of the CupCakeCup, among others. From 2018 to 2023, he was frequently heard as a sidekick on Radio 538. The last 2 years of this period he presented De ochtendshow daily together with Wietze de Jager.
