An enchanted journey!
Did you walk or perhaps miss the first Glinstertocht through Middelburg last year? This year, after the great success of last year, we are going to do it again.
During this beautiful and fairy-tale route through Middelburg, you will see the most beautiful glittering points, things to marvel at, marvel at and, above all, enjoy! Not only Middelburg shines this evening, you yourself can also be a point of light for others. Do you know someone who is a bit alone, newly arrived in the Netherlands, or sad? Then ask them to walk the route with you. Because together you will enjoy it even more and everyone can use some joy, light and hope.
Be a point of light yourself!
To shine even more, you can also make yourself a real point of light. Wallpaper yourself with a garland of lights, put on your clipper coat or carry a candle in a lantern or jam jar. See what you can find at home because it doesn't have to be new. We try to make a lot with things we already have at home or that we can borrow.
Route
This super fun and movingly beautiful tour runs in a circle around town. Everyone walks clockwise and you get to choose which stamping spot you start at. Along the way there are 6 stamping places. At each stamping spot you get a nice stamp on your card. These cards will be handed out at the stamping points. Will you make sure you collect all the stamps on your stamp card?
All the glinster points start at 6:30 pm and they stop again at 8:00 pm. After that, everyone goes to the ice rink. There you can buy something to drink and see all the beauty up close one more time. Keep in mind that walking the route (including marveling) takes about 1 hour.
