Galerie Goeie Genade opens the new season with an inspiring group exhibition on figurative art and modern realism. From March 2 to April 20, Hans Deuss, Roos van der Meijden, Daphne Schrijver, Vanessa Schiavone, Ruth Korthof and Pablo Slenders will show their work.
"Figurative art is sometimes underestimated," says Giliam, owner of Gallery Goeie Genade. "But good realism is more than decoration, it touches you. A painting can take you to another time, a sculpture can tell a story. We don't show art here that just 'looks nice by the sofa,' but art that evokes something."
The opening on March 2 coincides with the start of an art tour through Middelburg. Visitors can view the exhibition, meet artists and learn more about their process.
