During the fair there are dozens of attractions at Market and Square 1940.
The fair has something for everyone. Some great attractions, of course. Agile players can win prizes at the sliding game and the grappling cranes, among others. Lovers of oil balls, candy canes and eels can also visit the fair.
Opening hours
The fair is open on Friday from 1 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. From Monday through Thursday, the carnival is open from 10 a.m. to midnight.
Puncture-free carnival
On Sunday, August 4, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the carnival will again be incentive-free. Light and sound will be muted and many attractions will run less violently.
A low-incentive fair is open to people with autism, epilepsy, physical and/or mental disabilities, for example. They are usually unable to attend a normal fair because of the loud noise, the light effects and the rotating speed of the attractions. At the low-incentive fair, all these stimuli are absent or much less present. During this carnival the normal prices apply.
Markets to Dam Square
Because of the carnival, the Saturday market on August 3 and the goods market on Thursday, August 8 will be moved to the Dam Square.
