The actor's erratic temper combined with excessive drinking drives his stage partners all screaming into the curtains. Actually, there is only one woman who can handle the great Richard van Berkhove. Once upon a time, actress Lies Oorthuizen graduated with him from drama school with the same play that is now on the verge of graduation. Then they shone together on stage for years as the perfect acting couple. Until Lies hung up her acting career and went to live on the French Riviera. Under certain conditions, she agreed to come and save the play. That is the beginning of a joust between two people who are each other's dearest enemies.
