Forty artists from Zeeland will have three long weekends to show their work under the title 'Art Carousel'.
The province of Zeeland has made a beautiful location available for the 'Art Carousel' in the cloister galleries, Loggia and Crypt of the Abbey complex in Middelburg.
A special feature is the access to the Crypt, which is normally closed to visitors.
Those who love history, architecture and peace and quiet will also find plenty to enjoy in the Abbey.

The "Art Carousel" gives a good picture of what art is made in Zeeland and offers something for everyone.
Think assemblages, textile and glass art, dioramas, designer shoes, collages, sculptures, and sculptures.

In the Loggia on the Abdijplein there is work by two artists who both have strong ties to Zeeland.
Lut de Baere shows assemblages made from the skin of a motor vessel sunk on the Westerschelde.
Gydon Amitai is an artist living in Middelburg who recently graduated from art school.
Gydon is one of the artists selected by the CBK from 'De Zeeuwse Lichting'.
In the Kloostergangen exhibitions include Jeroen Kersouw, Rien Dekker and Ro-Nald Schrauwen, the creator of 'Pakje Kunst' available in Zeeland.
In the Crypt, work by Petra Bouman and Middelburg natives Bas Kalle and Elsbeth de Kuyper-Rijken, among others.
